Tony Perfect (Dog) Charity Walk

Ian Reed, of the Bristol Rugby Combination and a great friend of OCRFC visited the school today.  His friend Tony Perfect (Dog) is undertaking a charity walk in memory of Ian’s wife Cheryl who passed away recently after a short battle with cancer. Len Collacott and Derek Barnett, on behalf of OCRFC, were delighted to welcome Tony to the Pavilion on Friday 3rd March to offer him a cuppa, some chocolate and a brief sit down!

Tony set off from Thornbury RFC at 2pm on Thursday 2nd March and is walking to Nailsea Backwell RFC (Tony and Ian’s son Joe's Club) where the plan is to finish just before kick off on Saturday 4th March. The distance is just under 100 miles! Tony's intention is to, at a minimum, take a selfie at each Club and hopefully to generate a donation no matter how big or small towards the Sporting Family Change charity to which Cheryl was dedicated.

Below is the route;

Thornbury RFC 2pm, Yate RFC, Chipping Sodbury RFC, Frampton Cotterell RFC, St. Mary's OB, North Bristol, Aretians, Bristol Saracens, Clifton, Old E's, Avonmouth OB, (rest stop).
