I attended Colston’s 1985-92 and was a member of Beaufort House. I enjoyed all sports but particularly cricket and rugby but also playing Fives in the court which is now the gym! I enjoyed school tremendously and was a Prefect before leaving for Cardiff University where I graduated with a 2:1 in history.

I moved to London for several years after University building an early career in recruitment. Initially I focused on industrial and driving desks before managing a number of high-profile accounts including with The Metropolitan Police non-emergency call centres, before moving into specialist financial recruitment. From 2003 I ran my own business renovating properties before joining a healthcare awareness business in South Wales.

I was headhunted to join Reed in 2006 to launch their HR brand in the Southwest, working there until 2013 as an Area Manager covering Bristol, Reading, and Birmingham. I joined Moon Executive Search in 2013 and am currently Director of Search and Leadership Consulting.

Currently I am also Chair of a Social Enterprise focused on social mobility issues and supporting disadvantaged young people in central Bristol. I always have a DIY project on the go and love travelling to experience new sights, cuisine, and cultures!

I got involved with the OC Committee in 2015 partly to reconnect with old friends but also to give something back. I was honoured to be elected as President in 2020, although I will always be known as the ‘Lockdown President.’!
