We hot-footed it back from London and the drinks event to present to Year 13 what is menat to be an OC.

Len Collacott, President, outlined the importance of the lifelong friendships that you make at our very special school and spoke, as always, with great humour, about what the studenst could expect as an OC and also that he hoped that in the future they would eb able to give somethign back in due course to future students.

We were delighted to also welcome Matt Leek, OC, back to school. Matt spoke candidly about his time at Collegiate, his subsequent careers in teaching, working in the world of rugby and latterly as an agent , and how he had come to value his links wiht the school and his friendships even more as the years had gone on. Matt expalined how he had used his links with his peers increasinly for business and said that these had been indispensable and that when he had been younger he hadnt really considered how importnat these links would turn out to be.

Laura Carleton. Alumni Relations Manager, then spoke about some of the support the OC Society, the events we put on, Colston's Connected and the need to keep us updated and how she hoped to welcome the students back-in the first instance for Christmas Drinks at the Pavilion.

A big thank you to Len and Matt for coming along to talk to Year 13.
